چکیده
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect filter cake biochar on chemical and microbiological attributes a dystrophic red-yellow latosol cultivated with macaúba (Acrocomia aculeata), araçá (Psidium firmum) cajuzinho do cerrado (Anacardium humile), species native Cerrado. Thus, responses soil were evaluated 120 days after transplanting seedlings using four doses (1%, 2%, 4% 8% v/v) two control treatments (one correction fertilization other no fertilization). pH, contents calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, CTC, total microbial organic carbon nitrogen, C:N ratio. For soils three Cerrado species, 1% dose mineral that best conditioned during cultivation period promoted better response soil.

Crop management effect on chemical and biological properties of soil
This study was aimed at evaluating the effect of crop rotation and various tillage systems onthe chemical and biological properties of soil in the years 2013-2015. The first order factorincluded cropping systems: a) crop rotation (pea – winter wheat – spring wheat) and b)monoculture of winter wheat, whereas the second order factor were tillage systems:1) conventional (CT), 2) reduced (RT) and 3...
متن کاملApplying Biochar and Mineral Amendments to Remediate the Chemical Properties of a Saline-Sodic Soil
The present study was intended to improve the chemical properties of a saline-sodic soil using the individual application of alfalfa residue and two biochars produced from sugarcane bagasse and walnut shell, at the weighting ratio of 5%; their concomitant application with gypsum, aluminum sulfate and the mixture of these two chemical amendments was considered. The experiment was conducted in th...
متن کاملEffect of plantation with native and exotic species on soil CO2 emissions
The aim of this study was to investigate soil respiration in the plantation stands of Acer velutinum, Quercus castaneifolia, Fraxinus excelsior and Pinus brutia and to compare them with the natural stands in Sari educational-research forest of Darabkola. In order to measure physical and chemical properties of soil in each stand, 10 points were selected systematic randomly and samples were taken...
متن کاملHardwood biochar influences calcareous soil physicochemical and microbiological status.
The effects of biochar application to calcareous soils are not well documented. In a laboratory incubation study, a hardwood-based, fast pyrolysis biochar was applied (0, 1, 2, and 10% by weight) to a calcareous soil. Changes in soil chemistry, water content, microbial respiration, and microbial community structure were monitored over a 12-mo period. Increasing the biochar application rate incr...
متن کاملEffect of Herbicides on Microbiological Properties of Soil
Microorganisms decompose herbicides and they may serve as bioindicators of soil changes following herbicide application. Certain microbial species may be used as bioherbicides. This study has shown that Azotobacter is most sensitive to herbicide application; it is, therefore, a reliable indicator of the biological value of soil. The numbers of this group of nitrogen-fixing bacteria decrease con...
